Visual Hindsight

IRCAS Alarm is designed too for Visual Hindsight. This means that the IP camera surveillance software Visual Hindsight, can connect to your webcams and analog cameras by connecting to the IRCAS Alarm over your LAN or the internet.

So more homes and more small businesses can be guarded from a central post with simple webcams and analog cameras by using IRCAS Alarm and Visual Hindsight together.

How to setup Visual Hindsight for IRCAS Alarm

You can connect to live the mjpeg video stream from a IRCAS ircas using his HTTP server.
After a login you can connect to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port/Cam(n-1)/video.cgi

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx = IP address or computer
port = the selected port
n = the camera in the list
n-1 = the camera in the list minus one.

Example:
http://192.168.1.23:16080/Cam0/video.cgi
http://computer:16080/Cam0/video.cgi
http://computer.domain.com:16080/Cam0/video.cgi
Grabbing single jpg pictures works too:
http://192.168.1.23:16080/Cam0/live.jpg
http://computer:16080/Cam0/live.jpg
http://computer.domain.com:16080/Cam0/live.jpg

This must be filled in the next way in the Visual Hindsight. Do not forget to fill in the Username and Password!
