General Questions
1. Most of the dialog windows do not have a close window option (x right
hand upper corner). How do I close them?
You can use Esc key to hide the window. Or use the same button where you
activated the window with. Sample the Cameras button will show all selected
cameras. Press the button again will close all camera windows. The Esc key will
hide a single camera window when it has the focus.

2. I selected quit from the button but it still would appear in my icon
tray?
The tray icon shows the state of the IRCAS engine (service or background
running program) and belongs not to the main IRCAS Alarm dialog. The main dialog
communicates with the engine and you can setup/change settings, control the
engine and view the history.

3. I could not get the feature to connect via the
web. I have http server running and I added a username/password for that
but I keep getting an error when I click ok.
The server name or address is filled in wrong. After login the server gives a
redirect to the browser to the filled in address. If you cannot access the
address, you filled in, with your browser, you get an error in the browser. If
you use your internet address, you need a proxy on the internet to go from
outside in. If you work on the same machine (IRCAS Alarm and browsing) you can
fill in the IP address 127.0.0.1 (local address) It must work for testing.

4. I did a find for cameras. Now there are red crossed cameras in the list. How do I handle them?
If there are red crossed cameras shown, be careful with them, It are problem
cameras. It could be VFW (video for windows) camera's (and old windows system)
or it are camera's were no good connection could be made to the camera driver.
(better delete all red crossed cameras. IRCAS Alarm uses the WDM (windows
driver model) system. VFW offen work, but no guaranty is given.
